Manila copal uses include spiritual ceremonies, incense for purifying spaces and energy, meditation aid, and as a material for spiritual offerings. Benefits often cited are air purification, negative energy removal, spiritual connection, stress and anxiety reduction, mental strengthening, and facilitating deep meditation.

Personally I find most resins doesn't burn as fast or furious as some others on it's own but what it does do is have a subtle, longer scent that is a must for mixing with other amazing incense or straight on charcoal. We also find this resin is very different and seems to melt as opposed to burn so be careful not to use too much as it will choke your charcoal so take heed, less is more.
