How we see the evening unfold…
Welcome and relax with a herbal tea or ceremonial cacao as we take some time to arrive, settle and leave the outside world behind for a while.
We will begin with some simple drumming together, allowing us to relax, ground and connect through the heartbeat of the drum.
From here, we will open our Men’s Circle, creating a space where men can come together, talk, reflect and listen without judgement or the need to fix or advise one another. There is no pressure to share. Sometimes there is value in talking, sometimes in being heard, and sometimes simply in sitting alongside other men and listening.
We will then draw four cards from the Spirit Medicine Deck by Nathan Simmonds, working with the 28-day Lunar cycle. Please feel free to bring a journal as we share the prompts from each card and give you some quiet space to reflect on whatever they may bring forward for you.
We will spend some time exploring the cards together before moving into a drum journey, allowing us to go a little deeper and see what may be waiting to emerge.
Afterwards, there will be time to reflect and journal before returning to the Men’s Circle, with space to share anything that may have arisen during the evening — or simply something that feels present for you in your life right now.
We will then draw the evening to a close together through the drum and an expression of gratitude.
As part of the evening, you will also receive a guided meditation connected to the first Spirit Medicine card, which you can experience in your own time after the gathering and use to continue your journey at home.
The circle doesn’t have to end when the evening does.
Those who attend will also be invited to join our private Sacred Compass WhatsApp group. A space to stay connected between gatherings, share reflections and experiences, and receive guidance around the meditations and practices we explore together.

No experience of drumming, meditation or men’s circles is needed.
Bring your drum if you have one(we have a few spare), along with a journal and anything you need to be comfortable during the drum journey. There are also different seats and cushions available in the shop.
During the evening we will be burning and warming certain herbs, resins and woods to aid the gathering.
Please reach out before the gathering if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or sensitivities where cacao, drumming, natural incense or burning herbs may create contraindications, so that we can do our best to accommodate you.

Unfortunately the shop space is not fully accessible due to a couple of small steps down.
Options to pay in advance or on the day, payment in advance carries a 50p charge to cover the transaction charges or no charge for pay on the day. The shop receives no payment from practitioners for the use of our space.
